This section will host links to Pennsylvania outdoor shops, outfitters, and tackle shops that meet my own quality standards. I think it’s important to take note of these and to send dollars their way as too many seem to be closing down. Among the Pennsylvania tackle shops, I guess they’re threatened by a simple lack of interest, and by online competition. And it’s tough for the internet to supply live bait when you need it. I think that local tackle shops are threatened too by over-regulation, especially the ordinances that keep a local kid from setting up a stand to sell worms on his street and then growing that into his own tackle shop one day.
